we're gonna need some divine help now, D. The Dems are gonna raise minimum wage (not necessarily a bad thing), raise taxes (a very bad thing), remove all restrictions on embrionic stemcell research and harvesting (I'm not sure about this in my own mind, but since the Dems are so much in favor of it, I instinctively feel an urge to resist it), illegal alien amnesty (extremely bad), and cut off funding for our troups in Iraq, resulting in another pullout/loss like Vietnam - when a Democratic Congress passed laws that made it impossible for Nixon to make the tactical moves necessary to prevent the all out defeat that we ultimately suffered in Vietnam (very very bad), and they're going to start raining subpoeanas down on the Bush Administration in a witchhunt, paralyzing the Presidency in a time of war (very very very bad).

But the Republicans in Congress have no one to blame but themselves (spend spend spend, corruption), and Bush is to blame, also (never vetoed a spending bill, did nothing about the Southern border and illegal immigration, and didn't replace Rumsfeld a year ago - when he had become a political liability - and take a strong new tactic in Iraq).

Nancy Pelosi - Speaker of the House ....... it doesn't get any worse ...
Harry Reid - Majority Leader of the Senate ......... it just got worse ...
