Dissecting Iran Nukes and the Liberal Mind

I believe that many Liberals wish for Iran to attain nuclear weapons. I believe that they believe that if Iran has nuclear weapons, that there will therefore less likely be war between Iran and the U.S. - vis a vis the U.S. and Soviet Union back in the day. Ah, yes, but while, because of our nuclear shield the West avoided massive conventional war with the Soviet Union (by being strong - as Ronald Reagan so clearly and correctly pointed out "Weakness is Provocative"), nuclear weapons did indeed save many millions of lives in the West living in the Soviet shadow and beyond, the fly in this current-day ointment is the absurd notion of moral equivalency between modern day Iran and the Soviet-era United States. It's insulting, but what else is new.
