Obama praises Florida Governor

"And we’ve also seen a number of businesses doing their part by investing in clean energy technologies" ....
Is it just me, or does that sentence by Obama give you the creeps, too? "... a number of businesses 'doing their part by investing' ..." it sounds like the thrust of his statement is that it's the duty of businesses to invest in clean energy technologies - not because they've determined they'll make an acceptable financial return on that investment, but because they need to do their part (irregardless of whether it's a sound financial investment) ....
Sounds like a far cry from Adam Smith.
